Hi there, I’m Josh and I’m a Bristol-based screenwriter and playwright. I specialise in writing comedy, dark comedy and queer drama, and I also enjoy writing animation too. I’ve also got a couple of degrees to show for myself, namely an MA in Scriptwriting and a BA in Creative Writing, both from Bath Spa University.
I’ve had my writing performed all across the South West, including The Predicament of Jackson Scott (2022), Inside the Greenhouse (R&D, 2019) and A Comedy Christmas Carol (2015). I have also written numerous sketches and short plays.
Some of my spec scripts include The Fisherman’s Son (2018), Killing Time (2018) and Goob & Herb (2017), and you can find some examples of my work here.
I’ve also written and illustrated At Your Service, a webcomic set in a motorway service station.
